The Intensive English Program offers housing accommodations for students in Residence Hall 2 and Residence Hall 3 on campus. While in our housing, students will enjoy activities designed to acclimate them to campus, the South, and the United States. Staff from the Office of Global Engagement, along with student housing staff, provide support to members of this community through activities, events, and opportunities for enrichment.
Residence Hall 2 and Residence Hall 3 feature in-room bathrooms, study rooms on each floor, conference rooms, community kitchens, and lounges with TVs on each floor. Each room is furnished with a microwave/fridge. A desk, dresser, nightstand, and twin extra-long bed is provided for each resident. All rooms are air-conditioned.
The custodial staff will clean the in-room bathrooms and sink areas (only) in student rooms twice monthly. Students are responsible for keeping the sleeping areas of their rooms clean and supplying toilet tissue for in-room bathrooms.
Ethernet hookups, wireless internet, and basic cable will be included in every room. A 24-hour front desk, a community assistant on each floor, a live-in community coordinator, and student ID card readers on all exterior and resident doors will make RH2 and RH3 a safe and secure place to live.
For housing prices, please visit our Cost page.
Students are also allowed to find their own accommodation in the Oxford area, but they must arrange leases independently. We are always happy to provide resources for students looking for off-campus housing.
Optional meal plans are available to all students, regardless of their housing location. Meal plans allow students to save money by prepaying for a certain number of meals rather than buying meals at regular price. Please visit Ole Miss Dining for more information on the meal plans and dining options offered on campus. Students living in Residence Hall 2 and Residence Hall 3 will have access to community kitchens along with a microwave and refrigerator in their room.
